Coochie helps out at Hartley Lifecare
It was with great pleasure that staff from Coochie Hydrogreen pitched in to help out Hartley Lifecare tidy up the yard at Araluen House in Canberra last week.
Hartley Lifecare is a Canberra-based organisation that has provided accommodation support and respite care for children, adults and their families in the ACT and region with physical and complex disabilities for 50 years.
Whilst gardening is not usually on our list of services, raking up leaves, pruning and mowing were amongst the tasks at hand. Of course, weed spraying and a lawn assessment were part of the action as well. Local Coochie Hydrogreen lawn care technician, Brad Walker, will continue to monitor the area, with the aim to improve and maintain the grounds at the house so residents and their families can enjoy their surroundings in the warmer months to come.
