The Coochie HydroGreen Lawn Care Program provides your lawn with our unique 6-in-1 treatment, designed specifically for your lawn.

Our treatments contain a mixture of liquid fertilisers, organic soil conditioners and soil moisture retainers to encourage strong, healthy growth in your lawn as well as spot treating for weeds, pests and diseases to give your lawn a lush, weed free appearance year-round.

Our Lawn Care Program consists of 6 annual visits on a bi-monthly schedule. Every other month your local technician will stop by to apply a seasonal mix of our products to give your lawn a boost of nutrients needed to thrive throughout the season. Your local technician will also monitor and treat your lawn for any weeds, pests, and diseases that may be showing their heads since the 
last visit.

Many common lawn problems can be resolved through our Program with changes visible from the very first visit. Proper watering and mowing is essential to seeing the best results in your lawn. Whilst these are not services we offer, your local technician will provide advice each visit.

The process

Once you have enquired a local technician will contact you to book in a free onsite lawn assessment and quote.

Assessment

During your quote your local technician will assess your lawn for the following things :

  • Lawn type
  • Lawn Size
  • Mowing
  • Colour/nutrient level
  • Weeds
  • Soil type
  • Insects and pests
  • Disease
  • Shade
  • Watering

They will then provide you with a free, no obligation quote.

Getting started

If you are happy to go ahead on the day, your local technician can get started straight away with your initial spray. You will also be provided with some mowing and watering advice, along with a calendar highlighting your treatments for the next 12 months.

Next Steps

Your local technician will return in 2-4 weeks to follow up and check on the progress of your lawn.

Every two months after this your local technician will return to apply a seasonal mix of our products to your lawn. You should see improvements in your turf health and appearance at each visit and after some time on our Program, our treatments will maintain the improvements we have made.

Benefits

When you sign up for our Lawn Care Program, we give you a calendar with your treatment dates for the year, however there are no lock-in contracts or fees to pay upfront.

Our treatments are pay as you go and our technicians are able to take payment by credit card or bank transfer with a handy 7-day billing cycle. Our 2021 product comparison survey found that it is more cost effective to use Coochie HydroGreen on an average sized lawn than buy all the products used and store and apply them yourself.

You can have peace of mind that your lawn is being cared for without damaging the environment or being harmful to pets or native wildlife as our technicians are fully trained, our products are turf registered, and our franchisees are fully insured in case anything goes wrong.

For as long as you are on the Lawn Care Program you are covered by our service warranty. This means if you have any issues or concerns between visits your technician will come out and assess your turf and make sure its performing as it should.

Do you only treat Couch lawns?

No, we treat all types of turf varieties including Buffalo, Kikuyu, Blue Couch, Green Couch and Fescue – to name a few.

Does Coochie HydroGreen mow lawns?

No, but your local lawn technician may be able to refer you to a reliable lawn mowing service.

Does Coochie HydroGreen replace lawns?

No, we don’t replace lawns or re-seed, we apply treatments to existing lawns that are in need of some professional care.

How much does a lawn service cost?

Coochie HydroGreen offers a free 10-point lawn assessment which helps determine what your lawn needs. The cost of a service depends on lawn size and the type of problems the lawn has such as weeds, disease or grubs

Can I buy a lawn treatment gift voucher for my friend or family member?

Of course! Just email hydrogreen@coochie.com.au and we will send you a personalised gift voucher.

I don’t know the size of my lawn or type of turf. Are you still able to give me a price?

Our qualified lawn technicians will find out all of this information for you at the initial free assessment.

Are the lawn treatments safe for native animals and the environment?

Coochie HydroGreen’s lawn treatments are safe for pets, children, native wildlife and the environment. Rest assured, if your technician has to apply anything different to the usual treatments to your lawn, they will inform you of any safety requirements or precautions.

How many lawn treatments will I need?

It will depend on your lawn – every lawn will have different needs and different problems to fix.

For best results, we recommend clients stay on a regular program to help prevent any weeds, pests or diseases returning. Remember – if you are on the Coochie HydroGreen Lawn Care Program, our treatments come with a service warranty.

When do I mow my lawn?

The general rule of thumb is to not mow for 48 hours after a lawn treatment. This is so that the nutrients we put into your turf aren’t lost when you cut it. Your lawn technician will leave you personalised mowing and watering instructions after each visit.

If there is a particular weed or problem in your lawn you want your technician to be aware of then make sure you don’t mow directly before a treatment, as mowing can make lawn issues harder to see.
